so.. that said.. I hope to have a fruitful time here on DA, meeting artists and hamming it up. I have to say it seems a bit complex and tedious as a site. it seems to require a bit of dedication.. its more than just posting a gallery you have to label and categorize everything, and then if you pay for an account theres all kinds of other options.. I'm kinda busy doing my art, so I don't know how deep im gonna get into this site.. but I'll stick with it and try to post some images once in a while. In time I might try to learn how to sell prints through here, I dunno. my other comment is that the site seems to be over-run with anime animal-people particularly of the canine variety. can someone explain to me this trend? I already know that there is a sexual fetish based on it, where people actually dress up as the cartoony human-wolves and foxes and fuck. I'm talking about furries. they also draw pictures of werewolves and foxes doing the deed. what i want to know is what comes first the chicken or the egg.. do the kids who draw the anime fox tramps and the sonic the hedghog types with the body of fabio.. do they inspire the fetishists to do that.. or do they become the fetishists when they get a bit older? my question is are they aware that what they are drawing has such a subculture attached to it? its baffling to me. I wonder if it all starts when really little kids get into stuff like Tomagotchi and Neopets, and get so entranced by the slick candy-like imagery that they learn how to do it themselves, and later in life it merges with what would normally be a healthy untainted interest in porn.
